All Hail King Hightower – Friday Fictioneers – 10-9-15

Louie Hightower waited patiently for his moment. All the posters advertising the King Carnival featured the towering carousel. It was the ride with the longest lines. Its operator was the king and Louie wanted to be royalty.

He saw the pills Art Bowen took for dizziness. He knew what would make Art unable to fill his role. He just had to wait for him to fix seat 16, sabotaged by him.

After repairing the chair Art fastened in to test it. His eyes widened in horror with the telltale signs of his machine. His last sight was Louie’s evil grin.
